Privacy policy
No accounts. No personal data collected. Your progress stays on your device.
The short version: Loopsaw has no accounts and no server of its own, and we don't collect any personal information. Your progress stays on your device. Ads come from Google AdMob, which uses device data to show and measure them, and tracking only happens if you allow it. Purchases go through Apple. The weekly tournament uses Apple's Game Center, and it's optional.
This policy covers the Loopsaw app for iPhone and iPad and the website loopsaw.app, both made by HitScore Labs LLC (“we”, “us”).
What we collect
Nothing. Loopsaw doesn't send your gameplay, progress, contacts, location, photos or any other personal information to us, and the app has no analytics or crash-reporting service of its own.
What stays on your device
- Your progress: levels, stars, coins, boosters, lives, event tokens, badges, trophies, your loop collection and your settings. These are saved only on your device and aren't synced or backed up by us. Deleting the app deletes them.
- A list of purchase transaction IDs, kept on your device so a purchase is never credited twice.
- Settings › Reset progress erases everything above (except Remove Ads, which is linked to your Apple Account).
Photos
When you save a Timelapse video or a Live Photo, iOS asks whether Loopsaw may add to your photo library. That permission only lets the app save new items. Loopsaw never reads, browses or uploads your photos.
Challenge links
When you tap Challenge, the app creates a link that contains the puzzle (its world, size, seed and twists) and your time, score and moves. It contains no name, account or device identifier. The link is shared only where you choose to send it, and anyone who has it can see the result inside. Links are created on your device; we don't store them.
Purchases
Coins, unlimited-lives time, the Starter Pack and Remove Ads are sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment, and we never see your name, Apple Account or payment details.
Game Center and the weekly tournament
The weekly tournament is optional and runs on Apple's Game Center. If you're signed in to Game Center, your Rush scores are submitted to a weekly leaderboard, where other players can see your Game Center nickname and score. The app reads the leaderboard to show standings and to award last week's prize in your game. Apple handles this data under Apple's privacy policy.
Ads (Google AdMob)
Loopsaw is free and shows ads from Google AdMob: occasionally between levels (never in the first 20 levels and never while you're playing a puzzle), plus optional ads you can choose to watch for a life, a continue, free coins or double coins. To show, limit and measure these ads, Google's SDK collects device information such as your IP address (and the general location it suggests), device and app details, and how you interact with ads.
- Tracking is your choice. iOS asks whether Loopsaw may track you. If you allow it, Google may use your device's advertising identifier to show more relevant ads. If you don't, ads are still shown, just less personalized. You can change this any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Consent. Where the law requires it (for example in the EU, UK and Switzerland), Google's consent form appears first. You can change your choice in the game under Settings › Ad privacy choices.
- Remove Ads. The one-time Remove Ads purchase turns off the ads between levels. Optional reward ads stay available if you want them.
Google's use of this data is described in Google's policy for partner apps. Loopsaw itself never receives your advertising identifier.
The website
loopsaw.app is a simple website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It uses no cookies, analytics or trackers. Cloudflare processes requests on our behalf (for example, IP addresses in transit) to deliver and protect the site. In browsers other than Safari, the site's font is loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it does. If a friend opens your challenge link in a browser, the challenge is read inside their browser and isn't sent to us.
Children
Loopsaw is a general-audience puzzle game. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we don't hold personal information about you, there's nothing for us to access, export or delete. Your game data lives on your device and you can erase it with Reset progress or by deleting the app. For ad data, use the tracking and consent controls above or contact Google. For Game Center data, manage it through your Apple Account.
Changes
If we change how Loopsaw handles data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
